Responsibilities and Duties:
La Jolla Group is looking for an Intern, for their Digital Marketing Department. All of our internships are unpaid for course credit only. So, you must be currently enrolled in college and eligible to receive credit toward graduation. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing communications and social media, but is also interested in gaining experience in all aspects of digital marketing
Assist and support Digital Team on online merchandising site merchandising including category pages, homepage recommendations, cross-sells and up-sells, email merchandising, sales analysis, merchandise assortment, promotions, and markdowns for all three brands websites including O’Neill, Metal Mulisha and FMF Racing.
• Support Digital team on eCommerce marketing campaigns/projects
• Website Testing and Maintenance, i.e. new platform features, refreshes, glitches, etc.
• Assist in monthly ecommerce photo shoots
• Order entry and purchase order maintenance
• Market Research
• Competitive Analysis
• Google Analytics & reporting
• Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator savvy
• Strong interest in web, mobile, email, social media, and analytics
• Product Building & Activations to the site
• Add and relocate styles to the site as directed, move styles down the category tiers each month and remove SKUs from inventory & site
• Adding New Categories to the site (i.e. trends, look books, special collections) after discussion and strategy sessions with merchandise and marketing teams
• Update and Monitor featured category drop downs, i.e. Top Sellers, Special categories, and additional featured category - monthly
• Follow operational process to update systems – including coupon code development and analysis for use on site promotions
