GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Ecommerce Site Merchandiser is responsible for driving the business through merchandise management of for all La Jolla Group brands’ e-commerce properties.

GOALS:
• Maximize add to carts and conversion on site through proper analytics and product knowledge.
• Ensure onsite navigation provides the best customer experience for product discovery.
• Ensure links and pages are SEO friendly.
• Feedback loop on merchandise and performance insights to the Buyer and Planner.

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Continually analyze, execute & provide improvements to the customer experience on site
• Manage pre-season strategic & executional deliverables to prepare site for upcoming product launches.
• Manage in-season strategic & executional deliverables to drive daily sales.
• Own site merchandising decisions and actions to amplify strong business and turn around soft business.
• Understand technical site & tool functionality to drive efficiencies with existing tools and explore & drive new technical solutions
• Ensure that site experience is connected to marketing, promo & buying actions.
• Stay abreast of competitive landscape and make recommendations based on learnings
• Develop seasonal site strategy based on Buyers' product strategies and internal & competitive site learnings - to include navigation, photography, marketing, copy strategies.

CROSS FUNCTIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS & DEPENDENCIES

• Socialize and get buy-in on seasonal site-strategy from key cross-functional partners. .
• Partner closely with marketing & creative in the photo pipeline process - review marketing briefs, vet styles to be used in photography, gain cross-functional & leadership alignment on style out.
• Actively participate in quarterly and weekly business reviews to understand financial deliverables and use the site as key lever to deliver those financials.
• Feedback loop to Buyer and sales team customer behavior trends that will impact future purchasing decision.
