The Ecommerce Buying Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Ecommerce Buyer in executing the product and merchandising strategies for all La Jolla Group brands’ e-commerce properties. This person will be critical to the operational needs of the Ecommerce buying department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

APPAREL / PRODUCT APTITUDE:

• Stay current with market and consumer trends, competitive landscape and ecommerce industry.
• Ability to understand web retail operations and production cycles at La Jolla Group.

Position Responsibilities:
• Reporting and administrative Inventory Management:
o SKU review and Inventory Adjustments
o Purchase Order entry and Maintenance.
o Execute Markdown administration work.
o Clean up Inventory at end of each month/season.
o Invoice Review vs. Warehouse Receipts.

• Website Coordination:
o Communicate with website merchandiser on product positioning/availability.
o Maintains the relationship between E-commerce and production/warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of goods to E-commerce fulfillment center.

• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
• Create and incubate partnerships across all enterprise functions.
• Ensure open lines of communication and synergy within the critical departments within the enterprise.
• Ability to work in a fast paced work environment utilizing key business partners.
