Job Description

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lay out and print merch guides for various presentations.
• Establish all merch data (ie wholesale/msrp, skus, color codes, etc) on merch pages and maintain the accuracy of this info throughout the development window.
• Make sourcing decisions for men’s & women’s Printable category based on existing vendor capabilities, capacities and costing.
• Source new suppliers for blank tees as needed. After thorough vetting of potential new vendors, set up the vendors in the PLM system.
• Negotiate all costing with vendors. Must have proven track record of understanding cost components and be able to negotiate fair and reasonable prices. Will be held accountable for meeting company margin goals.
• Develop custom blank tees w/ vendors to meet internal specs. Ensure adherence to specs and quality standards. Negotiate MOQ’s and payment terms.
• Send all artwork for Printables line to appropriate vendors, and approve/comment on strike-offs in conjunction w/ Art Department/Design.
• Adhere to company-wide development calendar for strike-offs, photo shoot samples and sales samples.
• Manage all daily communications with international and domestic vendors throughout the development window (through Sales Sample production).
• Issue and maintain all photo shoot and SMS POs/ WIP in Full Circle.
• Oversee all pre-production developments including production style matrixes and sample comments in order to meet calendar deadlines
• Daily communication with internal counterparts; Design, Technical design, Art, etc.

• Attend fittings with technical design team to ensure proper product execution of custom tees.

Job Requirements


Requirements:
• Printable art and blank development experience REQUIRED.
• Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in domestic and import printable development.
• Must have thorough understanding of print techniques.
• Knowledge of CPSIA and Prop 65 required.
• Must have ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be detail oriented and solution driven with excellent decision making skills.
• Motivated self-starter who can work well in a team, has the desire to learn, re-learn, and problem solve independently is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for effective communication.
• Adaptability and flexibility is a necessity in this position.
• Full Circle and Lectra PLM software experience preferred as well as Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (i.e. Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook) are required.
