O'Neill Clothing in Irvine, CA is looking for a Graphic Design Artist!

The Graphic Designer position assists the ART Director in creative production of advertising, in-store, digital and catalog assets for the brand. The ability to multi task, embody creativity, and produce in a pressure environment is essential in this role. This person must have effective internal department communication, execution on deadlines, and attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions

⏵ Art fulfillment of seasonal retail in-store requests

⏵ Maintain seasonal pick list imagery for retail in-store requests

⏵ Responsible for the creation of seasonal imagery on

⏵ Maintain calendar deadlines, be detailed oriented and work well in a team environment

⏵ Demonstrate a strong understanding of graphic design, with a solid sense of design and typography, as well as a strong skill in producing hand drawn artwork.

⏵ Handle miscellaneous marketing materials and in house art requests.

⏵ Responsible for the creation of seasonal catalog production.

⏵ Execute weekly consumer facing emailers and social media request.

• Degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a strong portfolio
• Superior skills in Creative Suite OSX including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Clear understanding of brand philosophy and art direction
• Able to organize and present concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Excellent communication skills and work well with co-workers and management
• Ability to take direction
• A passion for, or understanding of, the fashion and surf industries.
