O’Neill is looking for a Juniors/Girls Swim Designer. We are seeking an individual who will work well in a fast-paced environment, has a positive attitude, is quality driven and pays close attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate well with all departments, including Sourcing/Development, Merchandising, Sales, and Marketing.
⏵ Responsible for designing Juniors & Little Girls Swimsuits, Boardshorts, Cover-ups.
⏵ Provide trend, color and silhouette direction for all categories
⏵ Work with design director to select all prints, determine color stories and new bodies
⏵ Capable of presenting collections to upper management and sales communicating clear ideas and new concepts
⏵ Responsible for fit, quality and technical execution of product
⏵ Strong knowledge of swim fabric and fits a must
⏵ Responsible for the execution of all cads, tech sketches, matrixes and tech packs
⏵ Provide art direction to graphics team for all art requests
⏵ Work closely with the swim/ merchandiser to track development and all stages of samples
⏵ stay on top of the consumer and comp via research & shopping
