GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Merchandise Operations / Analyst role is a key contributor to the success of the product lifecycle. He / she will report to the Director of Merchandising and be responsible for setting up and maintaining specific data elements in various systems throughout the product development process. With experience in both understanding the apparel design process and system data management, this role will help bridge the gap between the art and science of the apparel industry. This role will also support the merchandising team by way of performing analysis on both sell in and sell through and present meaningful findings that will drive continuous improvement of SKU productivity. The Merchandise Operations / Analyst will work cross functionally with Design, Merchandising, IT, Sales, and Production to ensure that all systems are configured correctly with the goal of data integrity and consistency through data entry and detailed auditing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

BUSINESS ANALYTICS

•Obtain monthly / seasonal sell through reporting directly from all sales channels and build visual presentations meant to drive results. Evaluate the data and provide meaningful insights.
•Utilize the Action Watch retail selling platform to recap brand and product results and positioning relative to the competition
•Work with Design / Merchandising teams to develop, forecast, and maintain product trim libraries and projections. Monitor usage and buy trims as needed.
•Ensure the smooth flow of product data from Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to ERP (Enterprise Requirements Planning) to B2B (Digital Selling Catalog) and validate data integrity
•Partner with Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, and IT to prep seasonal launch for go to market within the B2B system
•Partner with management to perform various ad hoc analysis

MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT

•Seasonal color code entry in PLM based on creative needs
•Seasonal trim code entry in both ERP and PLM
•PLM master / trainer
•Support Design and Merchandising staff in item entry in PLM
•Perform detailed audits across all systems to ensure that all items entered are synced for data integrity
