POSITION:
The Senior Account Manager oversees Account Managers & Coordinators and activity on clients they are responsible for.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consistently provide excellent customer service to clients, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality
Continually look for ways to amplify and optimize earned media results across multiple channels to benefit clients’ goals - qualitative and quantitative
Understanding how to apply media relations to increase conversion for clients
Build relationships with clients to identify and sell in new service opportunities
Develop and execute integrated plans based on clients’ goals
Coordinate weekly internal team meetings with Account Managers and Account
Coordinators working on accounts
Lead client strategy meetings – coming up with big picture, integrated ideas (i.e. media activations, activation of influencer / ambassador teams; partnerships/events/activations, email content, digital strategies) and presenting them to the client
Strategic in pitching needle-moving campaign ideas to clients and pulling that thread through in terms of pitching and engaging media to lead to a story
Implement strategy for and manage, with help and input from a Verde Director, designated list of clients, achieving media placement success for each client in both print and online media
Participate in key meetings with clients, approve key press releases and communications
Continually bring new creative ideas to the client that supports the client’s goals, always drawing in agency and entire client list where relevant (i.e. effective campaign ideas, media seeding, influencer engagement, press trip, etc)
Proactively and professionally interact with designated clients, with consistent, one-on-one outreach
Run weekly meetings with clients
Assist in building strategy for designated clients, continually and in three month plans (quarterly).
Responsible for monthly reports
Direct clients towards additional services Verde offers when applicable
Responsible for budgets, travel estimates and billing
Work with Directors to track client profitability, hours and work on clients’ SOWs
Lead and manage Business Development pitching and prospective client outreach
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
Working remotely/home based is ok
Contract and Part-Time ok
Travel: Currently limited due to COVID, before COVID - travel was common 1-2 times/month
