We are looking for a Design Assistant to join the team.

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain accurate product line list to be used by cross-functional teams to determine product assortment.
• Design and develop products on brand, comply with company’s mission statement, priced appropriately, and meets margin requirements.
• Develop and maintain accurate technical specifications for each product working closely with Design Manager.
• Review development samples and convey changes to both internal and external parties from original specification complying with each season deadlines.
• Involved in research of seasonal fabric, hardware and silhouette trends.
• Develop presentation boards and reports for each category.
• Establish line meetings and presentations to both internal and external customers.
• Prepare and convey sourcing and distribute development packs for fabric, trim and products.
• Design and develop calendars for new products and fabrics.
• Manage and schedule each delivery within given deadlines.
• Understanding on how to analyze sales data to maximize sale success.
• Forecast current and new product introductions with Design and Merchandise Managers.
• Evaluate product line concepts along with other product development team members.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Proficient in
• Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills and Time management
• Team player
