Job Description

Looking for the perfect candidate to join our Boulder CO office that is a jack of all trades. We are a fashion accessory manufacturer that produces private label accessories for brands and retailers across America. Our company is located in Los Angeles, however this position is out of our satellite office in Boulder, CO.

This position is unique in that it encompasses a vast amount of tasks within product development, sales and assisting with the day to day office duties as well as assisting the Director of Product Development and Sales.

The ideal candidate will have an Apparel education and background with a strong understanding of textiles. The ability to work in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a huge plus. This is a fast paced environment and the ability to work under deadlines and under pressure on a daily basis is a must.

The ideal candidate must also be able to creatively approach problem solving and juggle multiple tasks in one day.

COMPENSATION // Hourly based position - 35 Hours/week

RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to) //
• Assist the Director of Product Development & Sales on a day to day basis for any projects that may arise
* Daily sample arrival recording and shipping of all samples and packages to customers or factories
• Updating cost sheets using Product Lifecycle Management Software, WFX
• Working with Team in Boulder and WA to coordinate and create new styles in WFX with all necessary information
• Help Facilitate Private Label Inquiries with smaller customers
• Keeping track of Production Orders via the following systems:
­- Print, Record in WFX, File PO’s for customers
• Email weekly production updates to current customers(WPU’s)
­- Working each season to facilitate any product development or design inquiries that may be needed
­- Seasonal trim menus for the teams customers
• Keeping Showroom in order with incoming customer samples and filing of all customer development samples by season. Purging when needed
• Packing samples for customer meetings as needed
* Tracking and ordering of all office supplies that are needed(making sure nothing runs out)

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in apparel product development or production
• Must be able to work on a PC platform and MAC platform
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, & Outlook. Windows 8
• ** Proficiency with the Adobe Suite- Illustrator and Photoshop a huge + **
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of apparel / fashion terminology/textiles and product development process
• Creative person with some merchandising skills and exhibits fashion and trend consciousness
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with appropriate sense of urgency
• Commitment and superior attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment, build trust and relationships with customers & company staff
• Takes initiative and shows desire to continuously learn and improve
