Job Description

Rip Curl is in search of a Canadian Customer Service Representative (French Speaking) to join the team in Costa Mesa, CA

Position Summary //
Customer service representatives interact with customers and Rip Curl Sales Representatives on behalf of the company. They provide information about products and services, take orders, respond to customer complaints, and process returns. Assist the Rip Curl Sales Representatives by providing information and support upon request including but not limited to, order file information, edits, product availability, communication of issues and problem resolution. Field customer call and email requests.

Role Accountabilities //
• Must be on site and able to answer phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
• Answer product and service questions.
• Deal directly with customers either by telephone or email.
• Support sales reps and their territories with order and product knowledge.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints in timely professional manner.
• Enter/edit/monitor orders
• Investigate refusals
• Process Return Authorization requests
• Thorough understanding of individual accounts and their specific requirements.
• Review order file and ensure all orders are shipping according to Rip Curl’s Terms of Trade

Job Requirements

Essential Qualities //
• Outstanding phone skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of computers and internet.
• Ability to multi task.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Qualification & Experience Requirements //
• Bi-lingual, French speaking preferred
• High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications (Microsoft Office Excel)
• Knowledge ERP and CRM systems preferred.
