FOX Head is in search of a Marketing Director to join the team in Irvine, CA.
Position Summary //
The Marketing Director – North America will work closely with the Product, Sales and Global Marketing departments to create a strategy to support all Fox categories in North America. This individual must be a team player and will have to work with various internal teams to create and deliver all marketing initiatives in a timely and successful manner.
•Manage the Marketing team -train, coach and develop the team. Measurement of results to include appraisals and salary reviews. Hire and train new staff.
•Help develop and implement brand strategies and marketing plans for the North American marketplace that build brand equity in all channels. Implement communications programs to convey positive marketing message to target markets to enhance brand visibility
•Execute with excellence the seasonal ‘Global Marketing Calendar’ in the regional channels to ensure that Fox wins at the point of purchase by category, in key doors against the agreed KPI’s.
•Help define and align seasonal marketing calendar incorporating all relevant aspects of product, retail and brand activity
•Manage the execution of all marketing deliverables in the North American marketplace- on time, on strategy and on budget.
•Oversee the brand image through all customer touch points, to include all aspects of national and regional trade shows, sales support, brand collateral, dealer support/partnership programs.
•Secure and maintain the most effective share of space within key destination doors and locations using the Fox and Shift SIS, POS and retail concepts.
•Work with Key Retail partners to develop custom account activation plans that convert key brand and product stories into seasonal sell-through via instore/digital/consumer activations.
•Help conceptualize and implement industry-leading events that will elevate the brand in the minds of the consumer and industry.
•Present marketing strategy & campaign at North American sales meetings
•Analyze customer needs and competitive landscape, Identify specific product opportunities and potential partners that meet strategic goals.
•Responsible for creating and managing annual operating budget
•Establish strong cross function relationships with Global Marketing, Product, E-commerce.
•Establish and maintain effective relationships with retailers and vendors associated with marketing.
•Other duties as assigned.
•Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing with 7 to 10 years of experience with all responsibilities listed above. MX and /or Action Sports industry a huge plus.
•Excellent written, oral communication skills.
•Necessary computer skills include - Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Publishing/design.
•Excellent communications, presentation and project management skills
•Proven ability to establish and maintain honest and effective working relationships with individuals from all backgrounds
•Self-starter - ability to define objectives, prioritize workload and produce deliverables
•Collaborator - ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external partners to define and execute programs and build consensus for best results
•Multi-tasker - ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
•Strong blend of analytical, decision making and creative problem solving skills
•Must be able to travel to key markets for events and to represent Fox.
