SPY is in search of a Sales Support / Customer Service Rep to join the team in Carlsbad, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY //
SPY is seeking an energetic and experienced Sales Support/Customer Service Rep (CSR). This position reports to the Customer Service Manager at our Carlsbad, California headquarters. The Sales Support/CSR will be responsible for Manager and Rep support for US and/or Canadian territories. Additionally, this position will provide support to consumer relations and assist with company initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES // (including but not limited to the following):
• Support sales and assist with dealer and Rep issues in a timely manner
• Daily communication with Field Reps to assist in all sales needs
• Ensure all orders and RMAs are being processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Manage order discrepancies, facilitate changes and needed follow up
• Address inquiries and issues to management when necessary in dealing with the computer system and procedures on special projects
• Research and process all credit and debit memos. Communicate with Regional Manager via e-mail on each discrepancy
• Increase sales while on the phone: share early release styles, promo programs, etc.
• Generate weekly reports to distribute to Rep Force and Regional Managers
• Outbound Calling Program – Initiating contact with accounts in efforts to reactivate and working with Rep to increase sales
• Coordinate Salesman’s Samples orders for Regional Managers and Reps.
• Handle all incoming calls from U.S. and/or Canadian Reps and Dealers
• Enter daily dealer orders for the U.S and/or Canadian territories
• Process sales contest orders and promo order for your territory
• Carrier claims & tracking: Research discrepancies in shipping and receiving of orders. Take preventative or corrective action to avoid future shipping issues
• Analyze order file on a weekly basis
• Facilitate New Account set up process/ Dealer Applications
• Assist in operating efficiency by creating/maintaining procedural documents (SOP)
• Facilitate daily EDI Transactions
• Maintain a working relationship with Key Buyers; let them know if any new product or issues with their account

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS //
• Minimum of 2+ years successful track record working in Customer Service
• Proficient in common computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Knowledge of EDI/Key Accounts preferred
• Extreme attention to detail
• Extraordinary organizational skills
• Excellent 10-key and typing accuracy
• Consistent and accountable
• Ability to multitask and work independently to accomplish goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Great Plains software preferred
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work in an autonomous environment with minimal direction or supervision
• Ability to prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly workload
• Ability to solve customer related problems in high pressure situations
• Knowledge of the Action Sports Industry preferred
• Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
