Black Crows is an independent French Freeski brand from Chamonix, that designs skis, poles and technical outerwear. Founded in 2006 by pro freeskiers Camille Jaccoux and Bruno Compagnet, black crows was born out of a desire to collide beauty and efficiency into skis. We aim for the pleasure of senses through freedom and adventure. We believe that ski culture is a window to the world.

Black Crows is looking for a detail-oriented customer support professional to join our growing team at our offices in Venice, California. The Sales & Operations Coordinator will be responsible for all facets of B2B customer service in North America and will serve as the main point of contact for our B2B customers.

This position will be part of the Operations team, and will work extensively with the sales, accounting, and marketing teams to provide our customers with timely and accurate information regarding their accounts.

To be successful in this position, you must have excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills. You also should have strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Flexibility and ability to adapt is key; you will become an expert in the sales flow and help to build new processes and SOPs for the future of Black Crows.

Responsibilities and Duties

Manage Customer Purchase Orders/Sales Order cycle
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of B2B orders
• Receive purchase orders from B2B customers by hard copy, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), or via Elastic (IS Order Confirmation tool)
• Review quantities, dates, terms, discounts, routing guides and other instructions
• Enter order and confirm availability
• Send order confirmations to customers and/or sales reps via email, SAP, or EDI
• Manage and coordinate retailer ticketing requirements
• Work with logistics coordinator to release orders to 3PL (Third Party Logistics)
• Invoice orders after shipment
• Follow up with customer, logistics, and 3PL to solve any order issues

Maintain Customer Databases
• Enter new and update customer information in SAP, Elastic, and on other relevant apps.
• Review Vendor Compliance Guides and websites for updates
• Keep customer contacts updated
• Maintain dealer locator with sales and marketing teams

Inventory Allocation / back-order management
• Work with Sales & Operations teams to plan order allocation
• Anticipate and manage potential stock shortages or delivery delays. Contact customers & sales reps to resolve issues.

B2B Customer Service
• Interact with B2B customers, sales reps, and partners through all channels of communication. Help improve productivity and be a reliable source for information. Answer questions, find solutions, be an advocate.
• Proactively contact B2B customers to ensure that they have the tools necessary to be successful Black Crows dealers. Report any concerns back to appropriate department.
• Field questions from retailers, sales reps and partners. Coordinate with other departments to find answers / solutions & respond within a timely manner.
• Help complete retailer questionnaires, product set-ups, and provide other materials.
• Provide reporting to customers or reps that will help manage business flows
• Oversee the end-to-end returns process for B2B customers.
• Follow up on any compliance disputes with warehouses, carriers, and customers

Additional
• Help marketing team with special requests
• Help B2C customer service team with SAP and 3PL issues as necessary
• Liaise with the Global Sales Administration based in France
• Initiate FedEx office shipments; complete other office tasks
• Help in annual physical inventory counts
• Other projects as assigned

Qualifications

Hard skills:

- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a customer or sales support setting.
- ERP (enterprise resource Planning) / CRM (Customer relationship Management) experience. (SAP Business One preferred, Elastic a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English. French is a plus.
- Experience in the sports or ski industry is a plus

- Rigorous attention to detail and highly organized. Data entry accuracy a must. Ability to remain focused and organized across several communication channels. Can manage multiple fast paced projects, remain flexible, and prioritize
