We are currently seeking an Customs Operations Specialist who will report to the Customs Coordinator as part of our dynamic team in Trecate.
Your opportunity
You will form an integral part of the Customs Operations Department within the Supply Chain and Logistics Business Unit, managing the Customs Operations procedures for the import and export of goods. You will issue Customs Bills and verify the accompanying documentation. Moreover, you will check the compliant issuing of the outsourced Custom bills, proceeding also to the Customs Operations documentation archiving. This invigorating role will allow you to manage the Customs of our luxury brands.
How you will contribute
Controlling the correctness of the customs relevant elements of the invoices, before customs bills issuing
Performing the customs bills issuing by means of the software Gulliver
Transmitting the custom bills to the Customs Agency (Agenzia delle Dogane)
Monitoring the proof of exit from the EU and the Global Guarantee for EU Transit
Uploading of the e-dossier (fascicolo elettronico), in case of Customs control
Updating Gulliver software with harmonized system (HS) codes, Masterdata, exchange rate for foreign currency.
Perform custom instruction for import formalities for the external brokers
Check the accuracy of the outsourced customs bills
Archiving of the custom bills and documents issued
Who you are
A University degree, a master degree will be a plus
Bar exam as a Customs Forwarder (Esame di stato come Spedizioniere Doganale - art. 27 R. 2447/2015) would be a plus
Highly knowledgeable about EU and Italian customs regulations; experienced in international logistics flows and cross-border transport field
Greatly informed about international agreements regarding the origin of goods, worldwide CITES regulation and international trade: Incoterms, Tariff Classification, Customs procedures and licenses needed for import/export
Knowledgeable about issuing of EX and T2 and about the Customs Agency Telematic System
A proactive team player with a problem-solving attitude and a strong sense of priorities
An highly organized individual with great attention to details
Expert in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel. The working knowledge of the software Gulliver would be a plus
Fluent in Italian with a good command of English, both written and spoken
