The Logistics & Trade Compliance Specialist is a hybrid role responsible for support and maintenance of logistics and trade compliance policies, as well as coordination with brand partners, external transportation, and compliance carriers to facilitate accurate and timely management of inbound freight and outbound order fulfillment. The specialist will facilitate subcontractor activities, review proposals, and create performance reports.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Coordinate paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with Harmonized Tariff Schedule and US Customs & Border Protection regulations
Create and manage daily KPIs to ensure the efficient management of external Transportation & Trade Compliance partners
Follow-up with key partners and suppliers to request feedback, updates, as well as escalate any major delays or issues to ensure brand targets are met within Retail, Wholesale and Ecommerce operations
Communicate to corporate teams and brand partners of any relevant information including but not limited to system issues, major delays and claims occurrences
Partner with key partners to ensure brand targets including but limited to lead-time and budget are met and adhered to
Lead projects to ensure business continuity, process improvement and cost-savings of transportation flows
Review, troubleshoot and resolve problems as well as implement new processes within transportation & compliance flows
Document and track issues through to resolution
Provide general support to stores and maintain metric of discrepancies for resolution, follow up and continued improvement
Email communication: Heavy volume of email communications with the expectation to review and execute with respect to Vendor, Logistics and Retail operations.
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelor’s Degree; Logistics or Supply Chain Management concentration a plus
2-3 years related experience in Supply Chain or Logistics role
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority
Proactive problem solver with the ability to independently deep dive into issues, analyze and identify solutions
Ability to multi-task and effectively plan and execute strategies within tight deadlines
Attention to detail a must
Proficient in MS Office Software; Microsoft PowerBI or SQL a plus
