Job Title : Indirect Procurement Specialist, Korea
Division : Kering Corporate Indirect Procurement
Reporting Line : Kering Japan & Korea, Indirect Procurement Senior Manager Location : Korea
Mission of Indirect ProcurementCreate value for all Kering brands in Korea through strategic indirect procurement projects
Collaborate locally with Kering brands’ stakeholders to establish strong relationships
Drive indirect procurement projects to ensure internal stakeholders’ satisfaction
Coordinate and take ownership of regional spends in indirect procurement projects
Manage quality and risks of service and goods being subscribed
Drive and enhance vendor performance through continuous optimization efforts
Be an indirect procurement expert and advisor; primarily to Korea, besides other stakeholders
Lead, initiate and drive indirect procurement plans partnering with key stakeholders
Support local, regional and global stakeholders in realizing objectives and implementing functional strategies
Bring new mindset and share successful regional strategic indirect procurement experience from relevant industry
Promote indirect procurement guidelines and exchange of best practices professionally
Purpose of Role:Planning, execution and reporting of allocated procurement categories in Korea to deliver competitive advantage for Kering brands and corporate through cost saving, process optimization and innovation. More detailed duty and responsibilities will be defined in collaboration with the Head of Procurement.
Responsibilities:Lead and initiate indirect procurement projects which includes but not limit to; data analysis to identify opportunity, sourcing, tendering contracts, negotiation, contract management, implementation and monitoring of service and/or goods to be subscribed in close relationship with brands’ and corporate’s stakeholders in Korea.
Work closely with internal clients (i.e.; budget owners) to obtain buy-ins for all projects
Periodical report for procurement activities updating status of all projects
Evaluate and manage suppliers’ performance and compliance in close coordination with Compliance, CSR, Security, Legal and Finance
Develop cost saving and process improvement strategies on both group and brand level
Specific the relevant method and operational procedure for each project aligned with the Group Indirect Procurement Guidelines
Develop best practice and benchmarks throughout brands by creation, steering and continuous involvement of stakeholders
Provide regular project reports and performance in timely manner
Experience required[Educational & Professional Experience]
Bachelor or equivalent qualification
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience gained from multi-entity and/or cross functional environment in procurement/SCM field in Korean market
Experience in planning, executing, and managing both OPEX and
CAPEX tenders complying with designated guidelines and rules
Experience working in a global organization
Procurement experience in retail industry is preferred
Written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English
Strong negotiation skills
Confidence and credibility with excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
