In this role you are responsible to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities across Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and Czech Republic) so that they meet both safety and health standards as well as country-specific legal requirements. You will support the local store teams in assuring secure working places, as well as store planning and providing necessary materials for day-to-day operations.
Key AccountabilitiesResponsibility for technical maintenance and day-to- day operations of all our stores across Central Europe (this includes, but is not limited to: fire protection, elevator maintenance, cleaning and hygiene maintenance
Responsibility for all health and safety topics across all stores, both in-store incidents and collaboration with external contractors
Responsibility for facilities materials, stationery, tailor equipment repair and renewal when necessary
Coordination, planning and follow- up of projects and new store openings
Leading and executing sustainability projects
Budget planning, tracking and control
Independent execution of sustainability projects
Close collaboration with local store teams as well as Gucci HQ Team
Key RequirementsWe think you would be a great match for the position if you have:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing facilities/previous experience as facility manager in an international, preferably retail organization
Business fluent in German and English
Excellent organization and people management skills
Very good communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with excellent time management skills
Knowledge of the luxury market
Flexibility to travel
