About the job

Role Mission
This individual will be supporting the budgeting, forecasting and planning activities for the Company on a worldwide basis. More specifically, this role will report to the Planning Manager and will deliver the seasonal Merchandising Plan for the DOS channel at country level, the related Open-to-Buy, and will monitor key performance indicators, such as: product performance (sell-thrus, turns and months of supply), sales, inventory and receipt goals by department.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to): 
Analyze, evaluate and model a wide array of retail and merchandising data, from retail sales to merchandising metrics
Analyze, evaluate, and model a wide array of retail data;
Assist in all budgeting, and planning, including the yearly budgeting process;
Support in running quantitative analyses, including but not limited to: assist in the preparation, fine-tuning and analysis of the Open To Buy for each buy, analyze receipts and inventory levels comparing actual vs BDG, execute and study merchandising analysis to monitor KPI (i.e. sell thrus, months of supply, price ranges, sales by line, etc.)
Key Requirements:
A University Degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or Business with a strong quantitative focus
Excellent verbal and written English and Italian
3-5 years of experience in a quantitative, analytical role at a top-tier organization is preferred
Experience working in a fast paced, very dynamic environment
Excellent modeling skills coupled with the ability of analyzing really wide, complex arrays of data
The ability to prioritize, multitask and handle multiple requests with multiple degrees of priority simultaneously; attention to detail and the capacity to thrive under pressure
Excellent organizational skills, time management skills and work ethic
Knowledge of retail and merchandising metrics is a plus but it’s not required
Experience with MicroStrategy is a plus, but is not required
Experience with a formal planning application (RDM, Board, etc. ) is a plus but is  not required
