But we can’t do it without you. Specialized is looking to hire an Assortment Planner. This person will work within the systems established in the USA sales operations business for Specialized, but will be a member of the USA Retail LLC; frequent visits to retail and weekly meetings will be required to incorporate feedback from managers and employees at retail in building and replenishing the product range.  This role will use established merchandizing practices and analytics to build a range plan by store segment - setting reorder points for core inventory and managing the days on hand to targeted levels, suggesting markdowns and building markdown strategies for company-owned retail inventory.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
• Create and manage range plans (assortment) by location for USA retail operations
• Review trends and focus on well-performing product
• Replenish that plan managing categories to days on hand goals
• Create markdown and removal lists
• Create Oracle/B2B/POS orders/purchase orders
• Manage and Communicate status of backorders
• Find alternative solutions to gaps and gain store feedback
• Use retail employees to provide feedback on range and replenishment levels
• Plan for new product launches
• Coordinate with Retail Marketing Manager on campaigns to ensure inventory is on hand
• Work with USA demand planners to get on top of the list of key account orders
• Leverage Specialized.com tactics for in-store inventory
• Work with the Global Retail Operations Manager to refine the systems and increase efficiencies to scale program globally

Job Requirements
• 3+ years in similar field of work
• A drive for results

• Good communication skills
• Excellent understanding of data management tools and excel
