NHS, Inc. is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with a track record of proven sales success. The International Sales Manager is a key member of the NHS sales team and is responsible for strategic planning, customer relations, and revenue generation from existing and new sales opportunities with a focus on global distribution outside of the US. This is a full-time position located in Santa Cruz, CA.

This position reports directly to the Sales Director and works closely with the Global Licensing Manager, International Sales Coordinator, Vice President of Product, and the President/Chief Marketing Officer.

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop and execute a cohesive, proactive international sales plan and strategy, while pursuing the company’s departmental and financial goals and objectives. Implement this plan with foreign account sales coordinator and foreign distributors. Develop account base through frequent customer communication via e-mail, phone, skype and visits.

Evaluate and identify opportunities for new distribution in untapped markets and necessary distributor changes in existing markets. Manage the transition to new relationships when necessary.

Ensure sales growth across all categories and brands by use of Business Intelligence (BI) and other measures of sales monitoring. Develop and implement annual distributor forecasts and agreements. Hold distributors accountable to these forecasts and growth across all brands, expand categories in current distribution channel. Identify and capitalize on opportunities in current and future international sales, distribution, and drop ship channels.

Increase participation in preordering for all distributors through existing sales programs. Make suggestions for additional sales programs when necessary.

Monitor NHS sales and marketing programs executed by international accounts. Work closely with distributors to effectively utilize NHS marketing materials and assets. Evaluate and develop marketing plans to ensure growth and profitability in international regions.

Coordinate communication and shipments of all distributor selling and marketing tools including order forms, catalogs, samples, sales programs, and marketing materials and digital assets on Web Dam.

Attend and prepare detailed sales info, brand position and performance updates at regularly scheduled Sales Meetings.

Initiate distributor visits and market tours to meet with existing customers and identify new opportunities. Travel to key territories to evaluate brand performance and collect market share information. Maximize ROI at Sales Meetings and relative tradeshows
