POSITION SUMMARY //
A Production Specialist in Apparel is primarily responsible for the production of a line once it has gone through design and demand planning. A summary of responsibilities include: generating and analyzing reports, maintaining accurate inventory levels for raw materials, ensuring raw materials are received, deducted and reconciled daily, and daily communication with factories, sales and customer service.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE //
•Defining full package vs. printable styles and updating as400 system for BBG & ESB.
•Tracking blank reserves by customer/program for BBG
•Running and merging reports for BBG & ESB blank projections and ordering.
•Deduct, receive, and reconcile BBG & HON Raw Materials
•Monthly self-auditing of BBG, ESB & HON raw material reconciliation, providing results to management.
•Analyze and assign blanks to be used for tee budgets for BBG & ESB
•Providing Domestic and International supplier’s budgets and purchase orders
•Analyze customer order dates versus vendor WIP dates and ensure order match through shorten lead-times and/or air sea splits.
•Negotiates lead-times, MOQ upcharges and document shipment charges and works with sourcing for approval.
•Daily communication with suppliers to ensure production is correct and on time.
•Tracking production from development samples through bulk production.
•Provides comments on TOP photos
•Working closely with merchandising, design, and sales teams.
•Approves care labels and product testing to ensure compliance with required standards.
•Works directly with suppliers on extensions and production related situations
•Reviews quality control issues relating to production, clearly communicates and resolves issues with supplier.
•Provides input into determining discounts related to quality issues.
•Enters OC’S per style for Honolua and sends to buyer
•Enters and invoices OC’S for sample pulls
•Invoices Honolua orders once received into warehouse.
•Other tasks may be assigned from time to time which contribute to the overall success of the company.
