Job Description

Alpinestars Production Coordinator Production/Purchasing Department. Candidates should have minimum 3 years’ experience in this field and the ability to perform the following duties:

- Daily Correspondence with Suppliers/Makers
- Excellent in record Keeping & Product Tracking
- Must be organized, detail oriented, ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time efficiently and able to meet daily deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet a must, knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, etc...
- Assist department with any correspondence, reports and filing on a daily basis.
- Help to troubleshoot with any production and shipping issues internally and with outside vendors.
- Work closely with product development to ensure that all fit samples for each production style are received, reviewed and commented on with each vendor on a timely matter.
- Issue and update all purchase orders
- Assist with updating all costing and T&A for each season
- Continuously track and maintain delivery schedule with all vendors and work closely to communicate any updates within the company management team.
- Ensure that vendors have received all correct fabric and trims for bulk production. Also keep records for each style.
- Review all shipment samples for each style to forward to tech design to spec. Make sure that all styles are commented and approved before any shipment is released to freight forwarder.
- Take responsibility for all inbound shipments with vendor, freight forwarder and customs broker from time of departure to arrival at warehouse.
- Work closely with customer service to notify them of our drop shipment inventory, obtain releases from each distributor/drop shipments.
- Responsible for gathering all global sample and production orders and consolidating PO’s, issued from USA
- Issuing all global SMS PO’s, sending to vendors along with UPC info
- Give instruction to all vendors regarding shipping for all global locations
- Work closely with R&D to confirm ETA and ensure on-time arrival for samples and production orders
- Issuing all global bulk production PO’s, sending to vendors along with UPC info
- Liaison between Vendors and Finance department
- Work closely with R&D team to ensure pre-production and TOP’s are approved on time (preventing delays)
- Global trims management - monitoring po’s, inventory levels, vendor relations
- Primary liaison between USA, Italy, and all International Distributors, including invoicing and Problem Solving.
- Facilitating needs from different regions, sharing of information when necessary
- Represents the International Group and their needs, but managed by USA
- General Production/Purchasing support
- QC Review of product developed by other regions

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in production
• Knowledge of International production and QA processes.
• Possess the organizational ability and drive to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (i.e. Excel, MS Word) - required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Full Circle ERP Experience a plus
