Job Description

Alpinestars’ Cycling Sales Team is currently seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, sports-minded person to fill a Customer Service Representative position. The customer service representative will work directly with the Cycling Sales Manager.

Please do not consider this position unless you have at least three years’ customer service experience.
A passion for cycling is a plus!

Job activities include:

- Extensive customer care consisting of daily communication with our US account base
- Administrative tasks: order entry and shipping/invoicing
- Sales tracking
- Line sheets
- Calendar updates
- RA’s & reorders
- Sample collection management/coordination
- Extensive sales reports: booking, shipping, selling, etc.
- EDI tracking
- Order management
- Working closely with US sales staff to assist in sales
- Working closely with accounting, production, & warehouse
- Managing all accounts including new customer set-up
- Assisting in merchandising meetings
- Product launch and tradeshow preparation & coordination

Job requirements:

- Three years’ previous experience in customer service (cycling industry preferred)
- Computer proficiency as this position entails a great deal of data entry you must possess strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills
- Familiarity with Full Circle software a plus.
- You must be familiar with the cycling industry, particularly Enduro, Downhill, XC, Trail and BMX
- Problem solving / ability to adapt, improvise, overcome, and execute / strong critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills / able to prioritize excellent time management, meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills required / excellent phone skills
- Detail oriented
- Willingness to travel and to work the occasional weekend. (You may be required to work trade shows or consumer events)
