What You Will Do
As a Stock Associate, you will be responsible for the receiving, processing, and replenishment of merchandise within the store as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the stockroom. You will assist in other tasks as needed.
How You Will Make A Difference
Process incoming shipment functions. Check in, audit and sensor merchandise per policy. Ensure all shipment paperwork is completed correctly.
Prepare out-going store shipping functions.
Ensure all in-bound and out-bound merchandise is accurate, report any discrepancies to the stock supervisor and/or store manager.
Maintain a clean, organized and efficient stock area.
Develop a high level of product knowledge of all categories of merchandise by attending staff meetings. Complete trainings as assigned.
Be proactive in Loss Prevention initiatives.
Perform these tasks and others assigned.
What You Bring
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written skills
Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and software programs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business; will require weekends, evenings and holidays.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, standing is required. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, tools, or controls; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee is occasionally required to climb and balance. Bend, lift, open and move product up to 50 pounds (as needed).
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
