About the job
The Email Marketing Coordinator- Automated Programs is a member of The North Face Digital Marketing team. He or she is responsible for helping coordinate the day-to-day operations of the email marketing program around our automated and transactional campaigns, including project managing email campaign development, set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You are a data-driven marketer responsible for execution and reporting of the automated and transactional campaigns for The North Face. You walk the line between being a creative thinker with your pulse on the expectations of consumer facing digital communications and a process minded, detail-oriented digital operations geek.
- Coordinate requirements with ESP for successful automated and transactional campaigns.
- Very strong project management skills. Able to track and manage multiple workflows using project management tools.
- Ensure all elements of the email are proofed and correct: spelling, grammar, accurate content, correct links, and other best-practice elements are included. Proof using various email clients.
- Work with CRM Manager to ensure accurate information is shared between the CRM system and email systems.
- Experience in using data sets to create segments that power marketing programs is a plus
- Analyze email engagement metrics – including delivery rate, opens, clicks and revenue – to support marketing goals for traffic and sales and make recommendations for future campaigns.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of other online retailers' email campaigns. Make recommendations for changes/improvements to Email team based on findings.
- Remain up-to-date with new email tool functionality and determine if there are ways we could use that new functionality.
- Act as project manager on other ad hoc email campaigns/enhancements.
