Sr. Manager, Digital Commerce: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family
The Sr. Manager Digital Merchandising is a pivotal role for the evolution of thenorthface.com and its offer to the consumer. Responsible for developing the strategic direction of our onsite merchandising, leading the team in process and structure to develop a best-in-class experience for our consumer. Working closely with internal team members across multiple departments this role will be accountable for defining the consumer journey from a product perspective, allowing the consumer to find and buy products as seamlessly as possible, whilst experiencing The North Face brand at its highest level.

How You Will Make a Difference:
Lead and develop US & CA site Merchandise team and execute on all associated product maintenance activities.
Lead optimal product navigation, hierarchy, and filtering to drive conversion.
Own the financial KPIs to drive top line results.
Define and execute against the Merchandising technology roadmap, working closely with all of our technology partners.
Utilize Analytics & Insights tools daily to identify top merchandising opportunities, as well as products with high associated score and act to boost sales.
Create and present weekly web hindsight for category; analyze guest behavior, site metrics and relate findings to sales/site performance; present recommended strategies for current and future business based upon findings.
Merchandise across all channels to bring the most effective product stories to life for all customers across all site paths/verticals.
Work cross functionally with Buying, Merch, Marketing and Design to have a deep understanding of product and work with the team to bring that product detail to life for customers.
Execute seasonal tactical US Sequence changes.
Manage seasonal pricing and silent sale optimization.
Own the relationship with Third Party Merchandising Vendors
Manage and maintain the product upload process and attribute management.
Continually benchmark other retailers in our space to provide recommendation to the team
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+ years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a relevant subject area or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Retail e-Commerce experience is required.
Experience with internet based technology platform.
Strong analytical/modeling skills with ability to convert raw data into actionable business insights
Proficiency in Excel is required, including experience with charting, large data sets and macros.
Experience with web analytics tools such as Omniture, Google Analytics, Onsite Merchandising Tools required.
Excellent verbal, written and data presentation skills a must-have.
Passion for retail e-Commerce analytics is a requirement. Huge opportunity to make an impact on the direction and success of the e-Commerce business.
Ability to guide 3rd party development team to due dates and budget requirements.
Creative thinking with the ability to conceptualize and implement ideas that will drive business results.
Able to work actively with immediate team and cross-functional partners to solve problems.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
