The primary responsibilities of the Sr. Digital Commerce Analyst include owning the digital analytics infrastructure and monitoring all key digital analytics for thenorthface.com (including content, site, consumer experience, traffic and marketing campaigns). This position will play a key role in defining the direction of the online experience and marketing investments to drive the digital commerce business at The North Face. This role will also be the primary contact in our partnerships with our outside vendors supplying analytics tools to the website.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with the Director of Digital Commerce, and the VP Digital Commerce and Experience to monitor key TNF.com digital metrics to identify opportunities/challenges, research and escalate where appropriate
Create and maintain daily, weekly, quarterly and yearly reports for both the US and Canadian markets, and deliver to the team in a timely manner to ensure that business decisions can be made appropriately
Own the relationships with our outside vendors, including partnering with our procurement and legal teams to define contract and budget requirements
Use our analytics tools to identify ways to improve performance and efficiency of the online business. Use leading analytics tools, including video/session replay tools, voice of the consumer surveys and research, as well as more traditional KPIs to understand our consumer behavior to help define our overall ecommerce strategy.
Lead TNF.com analytics strategy and contribute to VF Corporate-wide strategy in selection and implementation of analytical tools and vendors.
Collaborate with the website technology team to identify gaps in data capture strategy and implement enhancements. Coordinate tags, tracking parameter implementations.
Contribute to TNF.com UAT testing, personalization and A/B Testing, CRM Marketing, and Digital Marketing by providing insight to teams and partnering with our analysts.
Structure and present analyses to executives and other key stakeholders.
Analysis of key trading periods and ad hoc reporting to ensure accurate business decision are made and executed


JOB REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of related professional experience.
BA/BS in a quantitative field from a 4-year program, preferred.
Experience with web analytics, particularly in an e-commerce/retail environment.
Retail e-Commerce experience is required.
Interest in the areas of e-commerce, retail, and online marketing.
Have a thorough understanding of the Internet, online shopping, web design/layout and navigation.
Possess strong analytic skills and mindset, and the ability to learn new concepts and software applications quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to details.
Be a highly motivated self-starter. Must be comfortable working independently to achieve successful results with minimal guidance.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting in front of groups.
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Confidently handle multiple projects simultaneously and under deadlines.
Possess proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Have an understanding of effective report/dashboard design and standards.
Be able to translate data analysis into business recommendations.
Have the ability to approach complex challenges in an organized manner.
Travel required: 5%
