The Retail Planner - Canada role is a rare opportunity to be a part of a team that never stops exploring. This individual will develop financial and inventory plans that make an impact on the business. You will also work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Finance, Supply Planning, Allocations and Store Operations teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, execute and communicate merchandise financial plans and strategies that support the merchandising, marketing and financial objectives of all FP and EC Canada departments.
Drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory and bottom line profitability. Manage the financial success of several divisions by meeting sales, gross margin, and inventory turn goals.
Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department and class. Collaborate with merchandising to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities by department.
Create pre-season sales, and gross margin plans by division that support product strategies. Reconcile top-down to bottom-up department plans.
Recap and analyze actual sales and inventory results to plan and forecast on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Work with Planning Manager to create open to buy forecasts, re-forecast sales and manage inventory for all basic styles to meet department financial.
Analyze sales trends and inventory levels as they relate to static and dynamic levels within the replenishment process. Work with Allocations to ensure appropriate levels of inventory to meet in stock targets.
Work with cross functional team to ensure timely and accurate execution of new store openings.
Develop knowledge of geographic and store-attribute performance and trends through data analysis and field communication.
Create store level reporting for US and Canada, focused specifically on Flagship, new and sophomore doors, giving the organization a clear view to our performance by location down to the Territory/Division-level and lower based on special requests.
Help develop store clustering with Data Scientist, Merchandising, and Allocations and provide reporting/analysis on an ad-hoc basis.
Provide additional ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Years of Related Professional Experience: 2 years retail/Ecom experience desired, 2 years work experience in an analytical field desired.
Educational/Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
Skills:
Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills.
Possesses an ability to understand financial measurements and how to impact them.
Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills.
