What You Will Do
The Senior Digital Copywriter helps lead and continually evolves the brands voice and tone across all consumer touch-points. From email, social or site copy to bigger seasonal brand campaigns, and everything in-between, this role has an unmatched mastery of adapting messaging for digital channels and consistently delivers compelling, product-driven narratives that engage and inspire. Youll be right-hand to the Copywriting Leadership and collaborate closely with Brand and Digital Creative, eCommerce and Marketing teams to develop best-in-class copy to support business priorities and strategy.

How You Will Make a Difference:
Confidently own The North Faces brand voice and innately understand how to extend and adapt it, based on context

Have a less is more approach to copywriting and deliver succinct but compelling copy that drives brand awareness and strong engagement across multiple consumer-facing touch-points

As a true product expert, youll create holistic, product-driven narratives that showcase why our gear enables explorers to do the things they love and clearly show how our latest product lines and emerging technologies stand out in the outdoor space.

As an expert in the digital space, youre big on testing, data and stoked to help improve existing team resources to ensure best practices and a consistent voice and tone

Collaborate and partner effectively with other teams, like Marketing, Ecomm and Brand Creative, to translate business priorities into really solid, easy-to-understand copy

Hold your work (and your peers) to a high standardin terms of accuracy, quality, tonal consistency and brand-right creative excellence


What You Bring
7+ years copywriting and editing experience within the Outdoor industry or a related Performance industry

Stellar portfolio showcasing a mastery of brand voice and clear, product-driven storytelling across multiple touch-points such as landing pages, social, email, paid media and more

Unwavering passion for words, the great outdoors and a strong understanding of digital best practices

Extreme attention to detail with an eye and ear for consistency, just as much of a creative copywriter as you are an editor

Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate with fellow creatives and come to the table with new ideas

Humbleness, open and eager to hear feedback, and ability to provide helpful but constructive feedback for your teammates

Ability to work independently, prioritize and handle multiple projects in a quick-turn, deadline-driven environment

Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Journalism or a related field of study

Salary Range:
$77,760.00 USD - $116,640.00 USD annually
Annual Incentive Eligibility:
This position is eligible to participate in VF's Annual Incentive Plan. Incentive Plan awards are contingent upon (1) achievement of your individual objectives and (2) VF achieving its' Corporate and business level financial objectives.

Long Term Incentive Eligibility:
This position is not eligible for long term incentive.
