What You Will Do
You will be responsible for consistently enforcing and elevating the overall brand voice and tone for The North Face. From digital communications (like email, organic social, paid media and site content) to retail signage, youll create easy-to-understand narratives across all channels. You will collaborate closely with Brand and Digital Creative, eCommerce and Marketing teams to develop best-in-class copy to support business priorities and strategy.
How You Will Make A Difference
Effectively communicate The North Faces brand voice and tone consistently across a variety of consumer-facing channels
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Brand Creative and eCommerce teams to develop and communicate brand positioning, seasonal narratives and product stories
Be a product expert to help consumers understand the why behind our brand, products, benefits, and technologies
Write creative but succinct copy for email, social, microsites, retail, and more
Work with cross-functional partners to understand seasonal product lines and emerging technologies
Help differentiate our products through effective but engaging product-driven storytelling
What You Bring
3+ years copywriting experience in outdoor and/or performance industries
A portfolio that showcases a strong grasp of brand voice/tone across a variety of channels and audience types
Solid understanding of digital experiences and how to write for each channel (i.e., email, social media, paid media, wholesale, website, etc.)
Previous experience in high-volume, quick-turn collaborative environments
Passion for explorationin all forms. You live, breathe, and dream about the outdoors, and love the community it inspires
A desire to learn, grow and be a part of something bigger (like a small-but-mighty Copy team)
Extreme attention to detail and a less is more approach to copywriting

Annual Incentive Eligibility:
This position is eligible to participate in VF's Annual Incentive Plan. Incentive Plan awards are contingent upon (1) achievement of your individual objectives and (2) VF achieving its' Corporate and business level financial objectives.
Long Term Incentive Eligibility:
This position is not eligible for long term incentive.
