Associate, Global Strategy
The Associate, Global Strategy will help activate the Brands strategic plan that will drive the Brands global growth agenda. The Associate will partner with the Associate Manager and Director of Global Strategy to support the strategic planning process, assess new growth vectors, and work with executives and cross-functional teams to bring growth initiatives to life.
How You Will Make a Difference
What you will do:
Drive market intelligence and data analyses initiatives, including ownership of NPD/market data fact base, and proactively unlock business insights to support data-backed decision-making across the org. Support organization NPD tool education and uptake/usage.
Lead external macro trend and competitor assessments to drive understanding and influence brand strategy.
Support Associate Manager and Global Director of Strategy and broader executive team in developing the Brands long-term strategic planning materials; support tracking and measurement progress as needed.
Support Associate Manager and Global Director of Strategy in delivering strategic/corporate deliverables, including quarterly & annual reporting, investor relations, Board of Directors reports, and other deliverables.
Serve as project manager for and support cross-functional projects, derived from the long-term strategic plan or the real-time needs of the business designed to drive revenue growth, increase profitability, and/or strengthen performance.
Support Associate Manager and Global Director of Strategy in vetting strategic opportunities; identify supporting evidence and lead business model assessment, with oversight from Associate Manager, for new market opportunities that are not owned elsewhere in the organization.

Skills for Success
Years of Related Professional Experience: 1-3 years of experience
Educational Position Requirements: Bachelors Degree Required
What we expect you already know: Passion for working for an iconic outdoor brand, living our brand values (to make the outdoors welcoming for everyone), and for being outdoors (whether its walking on city trails, backcountry skiing, and/or everything in between); we love to explore!
1-3 years of strategic growth experience within consumer/retail at a top tier consulting firm.
Bachelor's degree required.
Strong understanding of strategic frameworks, problem-solving and analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel modeling.
Entrepreneurial orientation, client-service mentality and sensitivity/empathy in working across cultures.
Ability to work across organization and manage multiple tasks under pressure with very tight deadlines and/or ambiguity; strong sense of ownership, resourcefulness, and urgency for impact is required.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time by air and overnight

Salary Range:
$69,120.00 USD - $103,680.00 USD annually
Annual Incentive Eligibility:
This position is eligible to participate in VF's Annual Incentive Plan. Incentive Plan awards are contingent upon (1) achievement of your individual objectives and (2) VF achieving its' Corporate and business level financial objectives.
Long Term Incentive Eligibility:
This position is not eligible for long term incentive.
