Sr. Art Director, Brand Creative
The Sr. Art Director, Brand Creative is a key leader in our content creation team within Brand Marketing. The ideal candidate is a highly talented director, with solid experienced in brand content creation and design excellence focused on brand and consumer experience including digital platforms. The Sr. Art Director, Brand Creative shares a passion for The North Face brand, as well as an understanding of the business and industry.

This position will lead content development applied to our marketing strategy. Content creation both in large scale integrated projects, as well as ongoing daily projects, inherent to a dynamic direct to consumer environment will be your responsibility.There will be a heavy emphasis on team and cross functional collaboration, and leadership in content strategies aligned to brand/business priorities and TNFs creative objectives.

How You Will Make a Difference
You will lead a team in delivering best in class seasonal and 365 brand narratives celebrating the innovative DNA of our brand, our product, our rich outdoor heritage, and authentic connection with our world of exploration.

You will be a true product expert, focused on holistic, product-driven narratives that showcase our innovation and everything great that enables explorers to do the things we love.

You will help develop and inspire your direct reports focusing on their career development, as well as their increased ability to have more impact and influence in the TNF community

You will lead a network of internal and external content creation specialists to develop dynamic content as needed to support key seasonal product stories and 365 brand marketing activation needs.

Inform and drive senior management alignment on best practices in seasonal campaign content creation, product marketing and 365 Brand storytelling.

Convey vision & complex information and persuade several diverse stakeholders / audiences often across multiple channels.

Partner with Creative/Design Director, Digital Director and Digital and eCommerce teams to define appropriate content strategies, develop and test campaign concepts.

Management of creative execution tasks, liaising with Brand Ops/PMs, Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, and other business departments confidently.

You bring a solid understanding of current digital technologies, design trends, including UX, eCommerce, and other disciplines that intersect with the Brand Creative team.

Deep knowledge of graphic design and typography.

Be accountable for all day-to-day individual and team deliverables.

Travel required (air & overnight), as required.

Skills for Success
Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+ years of creative experience in online and editorial design within retail, fashion, or agency environment.

EducationalPosition Requirements:
Preferred degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Computer Graphics, Multimedia, Illustration, or Industrial Design. Aformal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are mostinterested in your total experience and professional achievements.

What weexpectyou already know:
Understanding of The North Face brand and digital portfolio.

Deep understanding of campaign content creation and product storytelling.

Deep understanding and advocacy of digital design and design trends.

Experience with premium consumer brands is a plus.

Demonstrate proficiency in design software by creating layouts and concept presentations.

Working knowledge of existing and emerging trends in design and digital technologies.

Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and relevant apps for design and digital technology

Established concept visualization experience.

Remarkable portfolio demonstrating proven talent and excellence in content creation, graphic composition, typography and innovative design solutions.

Ability to balance strategic requirements with inspirational work.

Ability to work quickly from initial briefs to finished result.

Salary Range:
$90,720.00 USD - $136,080.00 USD annually
Annual Incentive Eligibility:
This position is eligible to participate in VF's Annual Incentive Plan. Incentive Plan awards are contingent upon (1) achievement of your individual objectives and (2) VF achieving its' Corporate and business level financial objectives.

Long Term Incentive Eligibility:
This position is not eligible for long term incentive.
