Job Description

Giant Bicycles is seeking a WebLink Sales Specialist to work from its corporate office in Newbury Park, CA.

The Giant WebLink Sales Specialist is directly responsible for all aspects of the sales and customer service of Giant’s WebLink online sales portal -- Ensuring consumers and retailers have an excellent experience with Giant’s Ecommerce platform. Responsibilities include establishing and supporting the internal and external order, return and credit procedures and ensuring the customers and retailers are provided exceptional service. In addition, the WebLink Specialist will assist in developing future Sales, Marketing and IT strategies to improve the consumer experience.

Additional responsibilities include assisting the Sales function with various administrative duties, managing the G-store’s promotional activities and providing feedback for Axapta process improvements.

Goals include maximizing Giant’s online sales opportunity, encouraging profit, growth, reducing carryover and establishing sound business practices.

Works with both Bike and Gear product departments to deliver the management team sound practices to manage the business profitability, provide the best possible data and help grow sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the Web Link sales function and processes for consumer and retailers.
• Order processing and follow through with consumers and retailers
• Ensure consumers and retailers WebLink returns are processed efficiently
• Consumer point of contact for all sales related questions.
• Develop effective and profitable Web Link sales promotions
• Create and maintain standardized reports to provide ongoing data and insight for internal stakeholders
• Responsible for accurate reporting and tracking across multiple platforms and data sets
• Maintain a closeout page that promotes Web Link sales of excess and obsolete inventory
• Manage/create all sales related documents and update as necessary
• Assist Inside Sales with order entry and administrative duties
• Assist the Quality Assurance department with order processes and administrative duties.
• Supports the Quality Assurance department with phone back-up order processing.
• Manage consumer accounts to ensure proper credits have been applied.
• Establish best practices to reduce incidences of fraud.
• Engage other departments on WebLink projects to create seamless sales promotions.
• Direct point of contact for Marketing and IT.
• Research competitors site experiences, as well as outside industry best practices and bring the latest ideas and experiences to Giant.

General Administrative Activities:
• Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting on WebLink sales activities and margin credits

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• B.A./B.S. or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of direct selling experience (inside and outside sales preferred). Management experience preferred.
• High level of organizational skills, integrity, honesty and strong work ethic.
• Excellent computer skills in MS Windows based applications.
• Be results oriented always in everything you do – all of our actions should support an immediate and profitable result.
• Must be able to handle at once multiple projects successfully.
• High level of self-motivation, self-discipline and dedication to the job. Can work independently.
• Willing and able to attend meetings locally and nationally as required.
• Good business judgment – able to make consistent, logical and practical decisions on behalf of Giant.
• Good innovative and cost effective (efficient) problem solving skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Flexible and willing to adapt and accept change.
