Giant Bicycles, located in Newbury Park, CA, is in search of a Global Product Marketing Specialist for its road bicycle category.
** Must have experience in / a passion for the cycling industry to be considered for this role. **
The primary responsibility of the Road Product Marketing Specialist – Global is to plan and execute global programs to market and promote Giant’s road bicycle range. These responsibilities include:
• Oversee the story development of road bicycles from initial conception to final retail presentation.
• Collaborate with road product development team members to define product strategy, positioning, messaging and launch plans.
• Investigate and communicate market trends, consumer wants/needs and competitive analysis of road marketplace to development team members.
• Effectively communicate/present product stories to large audiences (media, retailers, consumers).
• Collaborate with global road sports marketing programs to leverage partnerships.
• Manage and execute annual road marketing plan to target key stakeholders: Giant staff, retailers, media and consumers.
• Manage and oversee global road marketing projects (advertising, PR, catalogs, brochures, Web, in-store, etc.), including strategy, creative/content development and project management.
• Manage execution and distribution of global road marketing guidelines and templates.
• Provide support in the development of global marketing/branding strategy.
• Provide support in bicycle product marketing and sports/event marketing as needed based on company/product focus and direction.
• Participate in global product development meetings.
