About the job
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for (1) Coordination of key brands (Giant, Liv, Momentum, CADEX) and product campaigns (2) Digital Marketing initiatives and reporting, (3) Planning and coordinating brand ambassador program, (4) Event and Sports Marketing support.
**Must work from corporate headquarters in Newbury Park. NO REMOTE**
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with Retail Services, Marketing, Sales and Product teams to provide support focused on planning, delivering and executing brand marketing directives and activations for Giant, Liv, Momentum and CADEX brands
• Work directly with Marketing Communications Manager and key product, sales and retail teams to coordinate, plan, track and report on key product and brand initiatives covering new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and in-store experiences.
• Create and share email marketing communication to retailers and consumers - track open rates, engagement, and realized revenue from email marketing
• Create, monitor and manage brand-specific web content updates, social media posts plus lead digital campaign monthly reporting analysis.
• Lead communication and coordination to Giant and Liv Ambassadors, supporting retailers and Account Executives on program initiatives via email, social media, and in-store.
• Gather info from Account Executives, athletes, ambassadors, Giant or Liv staff and assist with communication of pre and post-event details
• Create monthly recap report on Ambassador event attendance, engagement, program and product feedback
• Assist Events Manager in US-based event coordination focused on lodging, ground, meals, and entertainment
• Work with Sports Marketing to provide support for US athletes (bike and gear), Field Marketing team (schedule coordination and communication), and other sports marketing programs as needed.
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years Marketing/Retail experience focused on retail support, digital marketing, event coordination, and sports marketing
• Strong understanding of Digital Marketing strategies (reporting, analytics, social media, E-commerce)
• Solid understanding of contracts drafting, proofreading and legal approval process
• 1-3 years bicycle industry is a plus
• Strong oral and written communication plus organization, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Must bring energy about cycling, with the ability to work independently or as a team member with business owners and managers as well as with the general public
• BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or a related area of study
• Possess valid US Driver License and travel up to 20% within the US
