About the job
The Custom Program Design Specialist will be the lead designer for the Giant and Liv Custom Program, creating and managing design files for products such as water bottles and apparel. This position will also collaborate closely with the internal Custom Admin lead to fulfill program customer service expectations. The ideal candidate will utilize their graphic design and communication skills to bring custom designs to life per customer request.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with customers in and outside of the retail network to produce custom designed water bottles and apparel, using design direction and files from retailers.
• Utilize graphic design skills, primarily in Adobe Illustrator, to bring design ideas to life in an efficient and timely manner, communicating with and understanding a customer’s request.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales Departments for internal projects such as events, sales meetings, promotions, or retailer grand openings.
• Plan, develop and execute semi-custom designs relative to market trends.
Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite, primarily Adobe Illustrator.
• Working familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and PANTONES.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills, proven ability to work cross-functionally to accomplish objectives.
• Impeccable customer service and communication skills
• 2+ years’ experience with graphic design and digital creation.
• Ability to work independently as well as the ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Strong design portfolio for digital designs.
• Experience in bicycle retail and/or strong passion for bicycles a plus.
Non-exempt full time position located at the corporate office in Newbury Park, CA.
