What we’re looking for: Seirus is looking to welcome a goal-oriented, positive, and collaborative team player to our company. One applying for this position should have strong interpersonal skills allowing them to be able to understand and communicate effectively with a wide variety of personalities. This person should also have strong analytical skills, comfortable with ambiguity, effective presentation skills, and handles change with ease.


o Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

o Highly effective oral and written communication skills.


Job Summary: The overall purpose of the Sales Manager position is to execute Seirus’ sales strategy and support activities in designated territories. This individual will also focus on profitable net sales growth while leveraging existing customer relationships into market share gains and develop a plan to deliver new channels of distribution.


This is an in-house preferred position. Office located in Poway, CA.


Job Duties:

• General:

o Monitor and measure performance and provide advice and training to help improve wholesale and retail sales performance.

o Develop sales goals and promotions.

o Establish goals which increase net sales.

o Manage plans and budgets.

• Sales Reps:

o Scout and recommend new sales agencies as necessary.

o Manage independent sales rep agencies within assigned territories.

o Provide leadership when working with dealers and sales agencies.

o Manage and organize sales rep training and evaluations.

• Dealers:

o Manage and organize dealer education, sales meetings, trade shows, and regional promotions.

o Individual strategic planning and sales performance for key customers.

o Motivated to attract new large customers

• Travel:

o Approximately 100 days per year minimum which may include:

? Present and negotiate with buyers

? Rep training

? Trade shows

? Account visits

? Sales meetings


What you will learn:

• Seirus’ approach and communication style in the outdoor industry.

• Management of Seirus’ sales programs and how they apply to customers and sales reps.

• Use of Seirus’ developed planning and organizational tools to measure and maintain growth and timeliness of projects.
