Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: The Director of ecommerce is responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to manage and direct all aspects of the e-commerce business, including strategizing, planning, developing and executing content plans, overseeing the generation of promotional materials and campaigns, monitoring performance analytics, the website traffic and product performance.

- Manages ecommerce business performance by tracking and analyzing sales information and site metrics in order to identify new opportunities to increase sales, traffic, and site conversion
- Identify platform improvements, develop and execute strategies that drive towards Electric’s ecommerce revenue goals
- Works closely with Marketing and Creative to develop and execute go to market sales strategies
- Partners with Product on new site functionality to support overall digital merchandising strategy for product launches
- Plans promotions that align with overall digital ecommerce strategy that will drive customer acquisition and retention
- Manages ecommerce customer service team and determine strategy to improve customer experience on the website
- Maintain robust competitive intelligence to monitor trends and digital best practices
- Develop a best in class digital team; optimize processes and drive new ways of working with a digital first approach
- Be a leader across the internal organization to influence strategies across creative, marketing, and customer service
- Bachelor’s degree of equivalent experience in brand management or marketing roles
- Minimum of 8+ years experience in managing a ecommerce business
- Strong understanding of advertising and marketing principles, particularly for online audiences.
- Leadership skills exhibiting a high degree of independence, drive and a track record of driving team engagement
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
