Zumiez is in search of a Marketing Manager to join the team at the Home Office in Lynwood, WA.
POSITION PURPOSE //
The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Zumiez Marketing team on all Zumiez brand marketing programs, events, promotions and special projects. The Marketing Manager will lead process workflow of brand marketing initiatives, management of quarterly and annual marketing planning, communication, execution and analysis.
As part of a small, dynamic, multi-hat wearing team, qualified individuals will be: able to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment; self-motivated; flexible; extremely organized; very detail-oriented; tenacious yet tactful; confident and diplomatic in dealing with competing departmental objectives and varied personalities; a strong problem solver; able to work well under pressure in order to meet project deadlines; and will have a positive attitude.
REPORTS TO // Senior Marketing Manager
SALARY // DOE
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES //
• Manage development, planning and maintenance of quarterly and annual marketing calendars
• Manage cost centers and work with the team to maximize budgets of all marketing initiatives
• Drive annual partner brand promotions planning and execution
• Drive implementation and execution of the events strategy
• Work with buying, web and e-commerce teams to align and lead quarterly brand and product promotions
• Work closely with Sr. Marketing Manager on special projects, building organizational alignment
• Act as a Marketing team leader at national, regional, and local events and trade shows
• Work in conjunction with digital and social marketing team in developing multi-channel promotional strategies
• Assist in driving the success of short and long term marketing strategies to build Zumiez and partner brand awareness and growth including (but not limited to):
• Strategic endemic and non-endemic partnerships and promotions
• All in store events, promotions, and messaging
• All sponsored events and partnerships
• Brand and product promotions
• Zumiez Stash Program
• National store employee events
• Home Office events
• Zumiez Events
• Store employee culture development
• Internal Marketing relations
• Zumiez history & culture archive
• Project manager & liaison between other internal departments
• Contribute ideas and concepts to marketing team projects.
• Perform ongoing process review to streamline procedures and institute best practices
