ZUMIEZ is in search of a Global Logistics Coordinator to join the team in Corona, CA.
POSITION PURPOSE //
Supports Global Logistics Teams through the primary functions of gathering and inputting data, creating necessary import and export documentation, using reporting mechanisms and works closely with brokers and shipping teams to enable fast, accurate and cost effective international shipping.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as: data entry, inventory control, oral and written communication, reporting, navigate basic inventory control systems and problem solving
• Support international activities including but not limited to; proper classification of goods according to tariff coding system, preparation and processing of import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, and ensure all documentation supplied by businesses constituents meets international compliance measures
• Assist logistics department, buying department, vendors and ensure shipment clears customs and is delivered to final destination on time, if any exceptions occur, communicate to appropriate parties
• Perform job duties according to standard operating procedures and within standard productivity measurements
• Process knowledge/data to solve issues, engage leadership and escalate to ensure corrective action is taken when process issues are discovered
• Participate in ongoing training and sharing knowledge with others
• Additional responsibilities as required
