Zumiez is seeking a new Distribution Center Clerical Associate to join the team in Corona, CA.
POSITION PURPOSE //
Coordinates directly with internal and external business partners such as buyers, vendors, and carriers. Interfaces with key departments within the distribution center (DC) to regulate the inbound flow of merchandise. Support the DC operations in one or more work areas by performing clerical and administrative tasks. Learn and become proficient in tasks such as data entry, inventory control, oral and written communication, reporting, basic inventory control systems and problem solving. Demonstrate ability to be a team player.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES //
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks such as common office tasks, data entry, inventory control, oral and written communication, reporting, basic inventory control systems and problem solving
• Create and audit inventory transactions within inventory control system
• Perform job duties according to standard operating procedures and within standard productivity measurements
• Possess the knowledge and understand data to solve issues escalating as appropriate
• Follow safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
