Associate Production Artist Job in Lynwood, WA

This position will assist the Zumiez owned & Licensing design teams’ functions such as (but not limited to) reviewing, commenting, and organizing product, trim & packaging submits. As well as creating and updating product tech packs. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven background in Production work within Apparel Design

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Contributing to the completion and maintenance of Artwork for Product Tech Packs and BOMs
- Assist the Design Teams on communication for print, trim & packaging, comments, and approvals
- Assist in building and maintaining the print, trim & packaging libraries
- Assists in building artwork specifications files for Zumiez owned & Licensed products
- Responsible for Packaging, Trims, and Printable Product sample tracking
- Build a knowledge base for print techniques, label qualities, paper qualities, and other trims
- Build and manage line sheets for Printable Products (Blank based Tees, Sweatshirts…)
- Utilize best practices to organize, store, name and set up creative files efficiently and effectively
- Promote continual improvement and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability
- Ensure an efficient process and communication flow between design, development and strategic partners

Job Requirements & Qualifications

- 1-2 years of experience in Production Art preferred or equivalent
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledge of the printing processes for Apparel and Packaging a plus
- Ability to remain detail-oriented while working in an exciting yet very busy department
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong time management, organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Understanding of branding and the ability to adhere to established brand guidelines
