Overview of role: The responsibility of the Product Line Coordinator is to assist and support the Product Merchandising department, in the creation and development of the product line’s with identified tasks related to the specific category, to assure on time delivery, on target price of product from the concept to the final production delivery. Primary responsibilities include; management of day to day merchandising tools; including PLM system data, visual merchandising worksheets, packaging, and sales samples. May manage the buying and merchandise assortment activities of the organization. Responsible for the implementation of merchandising initiatives which include coordinating and monitoring the company's merchandising system. Researches new trends or advances in product lines to assist team in make appropriate merchandising decisions. Assisting in bringing successful categories to market in a timely and profitable manner. Assists in assortment plan, including breadth, depth, price-point, and space allocation for a specific product category. Ensures that the product development is in accordance with the line plan and production calendar. Provides input into merchandise presentation. Reviews sales to provide analysis for future plans. Acts as a liaison between design, production, sourcing, marketing, sales, and allocations. Job Qualifications: !2+ years’ experience in the field, and Bachelor’s Degree required. !Must be able to travel domestically and internationally. Approx. 15-20% may include some weekends and holidays. !Demonstrated written, verbal, and presentation skills. !Strong attention to detail and aptitude in handle multiple tasks in a deadline driven work environment. !Self-starter with desire and ability to own and drive projects in a timely manner. !Ability to effectively communicate complicated topics to a diverse audience. !Experience working in a variety of software programs to include: Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign. !Experience in sports(s) and/or markets targeted by PEARL iZUMi brand are preferred, although not required. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: !Product Line Coordinator will facilitate the creation of product concepts, designs, and briefs by supporting the PLM and the GCM. !Assist in the merchandising of a line that addresses domestic and international market position and demands, by supporting and arranging presentation details including organization of the line for sales and distributor presentations, merchandizing of the presentation room, supporting the team to create a clear and flowing line presentation. !Daily management and maintenance of all data in the PLM system for specified line (i.e. adding styles, colorways and costing for each season). !Conduct sales and market research to facilitate the comparison and analysis of past and present sales. !Create and manage seasonal merchandising pages. !Manage seasonal samples for each line. !Support Merchandising in management of product lines including receiving and reviewing samples, creation and proofing product copy and presentations, and respond to request and needs of the Sales, Development, Operations and Marketing Organizations. !Work with Merchandising, Development, Marketing and Materials teams to maintain an accurate log of product changes and updates can then share this information with the US and International Sales organizations in a timely and consistent manner.
