Overview of role:
The primary focus of this position is to support the execution of procurement planning. This includes making key contributions to the Buying and Planning Team through; data validation, procurement, PO management, backorder management, supporting the PEARL iZUMi made to order business and reporting/analytics. Job Qualifications:
B.A./B.S. degree preferred
1+ years in a field requiring business analytics
Knowledge of product purchasing, inventory analysis, business reporting, assortment maintenance, purchase order creation
Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills; including ability to think and plan strategically related to supply chain execution
Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple levels of reporting across numerous channels, seasons, and assortments
Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Anaplan experience is a plus but not required.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adhoc report building
Familiar with inventory management, optimization practices and reading key performance indicators
Ability to create, manage and track purchase orders
General understanding of forecast planning and product purchasing
Critical thinking, initiative and composure in a fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Support the Buyer/Planners with needed purchase order creation, weekly order maintenance/adjustments and reporting
Execute placement of purchase orders with second-level factories, across the PI channels to drive maximum sales, align preseason forecast, improve inventory health and drive improved customer service
Lead the sample ordering process for the Supply Chain Dept; inclusive off order template creation, order management, calendar communication, on time shipment tracking and cross functional collaboration with the PI Materials, Sales and Development Teams
Lead the Made to Order (MTO) business for the Supply Chain Dept; inclusive of factory communication, order placement, calendar creation + execution and partner with the PI MTO sales team
Assist Supply Chain management with reporting and analytics
Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic planning within the various departments
Reporting and management of work in progress purchase orders and on time shipping rates
Analyze backorders, calling out risks/opportunities based on the current and projected stock levels
Manage the production approval process for all new products in partnership with the Development Team
Examine and communicate weekly business metrics that are thought provoking and key to driving + improving our business
Assist in assortment validation, making sure the correct SKUs are active for the correct seasons across all systems
Creation and validation of standard operating procedures
