OBEY is looking for an apparel Trim Coordinator
Job Summary
Coordinates all of Men’s and Women’s trims and ensures all aspects runs smoothly from development through production.
Essential Functions:
• Maintain label master for Men’s and Womens’s trims.
• Maintains Full Circle trim master.
• Coordinate and track label development, pricing, comments, and approvals.
• Negotiate and approve all trim costing.
• Sends comments and approvals on all trim development.
• Advises design, production and vendors of label approvals and potential label issues and advises how to proceed.
• Coordinate with vendors to insure timely delivery for SMS and bulk.
• Works closely with the design team to ensure they are using approved trims.
• Manage label inventory and projections to strategize sale samples and production needs.
• Manage trim development calendar and see that all parties are meeting calendar dates.
• Maintain and manage trim library.
• Initiates and manages trim QC and testing.
• Advises production of all new trims and trim packages for the season.
