The Sr. eCommerce Development Ops Engineer is responsible for creating, maintaining and augmenting, processes, tools, and methodologies within the software development lifecycle to enable successful coding, quality assurance, deployment of our ecommerce platform. This position will have the technical breadth and depth to act as a thought leader, facilitator and guide to the technical teams developing our platform. This role will define best practices, guidelines, develop automations, manage release cycles, oversee infrastructure and provide monitoring.

Primary Duties ! Architect and implement policies and solutions to manage environments, design infrastructure, improve deployment processes and CI/CD capabilities.
! Lead and own creation dev ops best practices, building blocks, and patterns to ensure software deployment is reliable, stable, scalable, and resilient.
! Work closely with our developers and external partners to ensure consistency throughout the software development life cycle process.
! Lead and collaborate with technical and security leads to deliver a reliable and secure platform in Salesforce environment.
! Partner with business and engineering to ensure infrastructure and software needs are addressed.
! Provide technical governance for infrastructure design, deployment, and operations in a cost-effective manner
! Ensure solutions are implemented and delivered with best practices, standards, appropriate controls, and thorough documentation
! Champion ways to continuously improve the health, reliability, performance, security and redundancy of our Salesforce environments by forecasting and assessing potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
! Collaborate with various areas of the organization including business partners, product owners, architecture, security, digital and IT engineering teams
! Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
! Stay abreast of current on trends and introduce withing the organization where appropriate
! Performs duties consistent with the companys AAP/EEO goals and policies.
! Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required ! Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
! 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering
! Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud highly desired
! Experience in Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform) desired
! Experience using coding and scripting (JavaScript, Node, NPM, Python, SQL, Java, Bash)
! Experience using build and deployment tools (e.g. Github Actions)
! Experience using testing frame works (Mocha, Chai, Sinon, WebDriver)
! Experience using Salesforce (SFCC DevOps, SFCC-CI tools)
! Experience using code inspection tools (e.g Sonar, Wallaby, etc.)
! Experience with continuous integration and automation servers (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
! Experience with container technology (Docker and/or Kubernetes)
! Experience with monitoring and logging platforms (e.g. Sumologic, Splunk, etc.)
! Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet)
! Experienced with deployment and monitoring of highly scalable products
! Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
! Agile development methodology experience
! Passion for technology and a high technical aptitude.
! Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work across organizational boundaries and promote and influence direction on how to best solve business and technical problems.
