Wolverine Worldwide’s continued success is driven by our ability to stay true to our simple mission: we empower, engage and inspire our consumers – every step of the way.   A Benefits Analyst is responsible for administration of health and welfare plans including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, disability, and paid time off plans.  Maintains programs in compliance with regulatory and plan requirements.    Primary Duties • Functions as the liaison for the Company’s health and welfare plans with internal and external parties, including vendors. Oversees administration of benefit programs. • Manages enrollment activity in partnership with benefits administration service provider. • Acts as liaison with HR partners for benefit program concerns and inquiries. • Communicates and consults with employees, former employees and retirees regarding benefits programs, policies, and procedures. • Partners closely with internal HRIS and IS teams to ensure benefits data integrity and accuracy. • Ensures compliance of plans with plan rules and regulatory requirements. Maintains accurate records for possible audit. • Perform duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies. • Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required • Bachelor’s degree Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field • 3-5 years of increasingly specialized benefits experience • In-depth working knowledge of federal, state, and local benefit laws and regulatory requirements, such as FMLA, EEO, ADA, and Workers Compensation • Strong attention to detail • Ability to multi-task • Strong organizational and analytical skills • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and external partners at all levels   WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office conditions; some travel required.   Committed to a diverse workforce, we are an Equal Opportunity Employer (Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled).
