Hush Puppies.   The Senior Designer will design product by conceptualizing and providing ideation sketches, material specifications and outside details taking into consideration market trends and creative vision while following product development timeline goals.    Primary Duties • Manages a design category and/or team. • Create footwear designs appropriate for the target consumer and developed within the project timelines according to project briefs. • Research marketing and fashion trends. Collaborate with product leadership on seasonal direction. • Partner with design leadership, product development and marketing to collaborate on design projects and maximize effectiveness. • Partner with materials team to assess and evaluate seasonal material needs. • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies. • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required • Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent experience required. • 7+ years of footwear design experience required. • Proven leadership skills with at least 2 years’ experience in leading or influencing others. • In-depth knowledge of design process. • Solid presentation and communication skills. • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships. • In-depth computer skills and experience with 3D, Adobe Illustrator and Photo-Shop software.    WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office environment.  Some travel may be required.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills which may be required.
