Join our team and discover an odyssey in every day.   The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and executing compelling, best-in-class experiences that drive high-consumer engagement and effectively reinforce the brand positioning across all Sperry experiences, including pop-ups, tradeshows, events and showrooms. Leads the creation of visual guidelines, POP collateral, and the rollout of branded environments. Supports brand marketing leadership and works cross-functionally with Design, Product, Marketing Creative and Sales to create storytelling experiences that visually define the brand and ensure optimal profitability and market share growth in line with brand targets. Primary Duties • Responsible for the execution and rollout of branded experiences for showrooms, events (internal/external), tradeshows, collaborations, and pop ups that differentiate Sperry, reinforce brand identity, and meet established strategic goals, revenue targets, budgets, and timelines. • Manages all aspects of brand experience rollouts including floorplan concepts/layouts, product styling, and the creation of 3D/POP elements that reinforce brand storytelling for shows and events. • Leads plans to address all seasonal product flows in market. Creates, maintains, and evolves communication/plan-o-gram tools for efficiencies and strong market execution. • Supports the creation of global experience strategies with marketing leadership and the development of integrated 360-degree campaigns that drive high consumer engagement and grow share. • Understands the consumer profile and constantly conceptualizes new and creative merchandising ideas to evolve the brand storytelling, support key initiatives, and drive best-in-class consumer experiences. Stays current with the latest fashion, retail, and interior trends and delivers creative concepts that result in an ROI. • Develops positive cross-functional relationships and maintains a team-orientation, able to deliver on personal goals while supporting others to drive to targeted results. • Collaborates effectively with partners to deliver actionable seasonal strategies for market rollout. • Prioritizes and drives projects to meet master calendar timelines. • Successfully manages and delivers on project milestones throughout the complete project lifecycle: concept, planning, meetings, management updates, and rollout. Includes executing all related tasks for success, e.g. visual operations, trouble shooting, expert follow-through and hind sighting. • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies. • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required • Bachelor's degree in marketing or design, or equivalent work experience. • 3 years’ experience in visual merchandising or related field, with expertise in tradeshows/event management a preferred. • Proven track record working closely with product, sales, and marketing teams. • Creative thinker with experience in events/store design concepts, floor planning, and fixturing. • Skilled in creating/documenting interiors and delivering seasonal tools for market execution. • Strong communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to lead conversations, influence, and gain consensus from business partners in small and large scale working teams. • Adaptable with the proven ability to problem solve, efficiently multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.â?¨ • Enjoys working as part of a team and collaborating together to achieve results. • Software experience: Adobe Suite, Sketch up, MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, or similar programs.   WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office environment.  Some travel may be required.
